Ans: 10:30 pm
Suppose trains meet x hours after 2 pm
First train travels x hours.
Distance covered by first train = 70x
Second train travels (x-1.5) hours.
Distance covered by second train = 85(x-1.5)
Both the distances are same as they meet after x hours
=> 70x = 85(x-1.5)
=> 15x = 127.5
=> x = 8.5 = 8 hour 30 minutes
Therefore, the trains meet 8 hours 30 minutes after 2 pm
i.e., at 10:30 pm

Answer:
10 : 30 pm
Step-by-step explanation:
1st Train .................................2nd Train
2 pm 3:30 pm
So, Time gap is = 1 h 30 min, then 1st Train goes
D = Time * Speed
= 1.5 * 70
= 105 km
Speed Difference = (85 - 70) = 15 km /h
Time = (105 / 15) h
= 7 h
They will meet after 7 h
= 3:30 + 7h = 10:30 pm
