Acceleration = final velocity - initial velocity/ time

a = v-u/t
t=5
a =5
v=0
5 = v -0/5
v = 25 m/s

ShreyaGarg: please give me answer properly with step by step. I don't understand this answer
uneq95: acceleration is just rate of change of velocity
uneq95: since the car starts from rest, the initial velocity is zero.
uneq95: we need to find the final velocity, so we assumed it to be v variable
uneq95: time is given as 5 sec and value of acceleration is also given as 5 m/s²
uneq95: so we just put all these values in the formula and solve for value of v

Answer:-

= 25 m/s.

Given

u=0

a=5m/s ^2

t=5sec.

to find velocity of train, we use v=u+at

⇒v=u+at

⇒ V=0+5*5

⇒ V=25 m/s.

velocity of train in 5 second is 25 m/s.

Explanation:-

The three equations of motion

  • v = u + at
  • s = ut + (1/2) at²
  • v² = u² +2as
