heya......
Given :
Initial Velocity=u=0m/s
Final velocity= V= 90km/h
Time =5 min =3/60 h =1/20 h
acceleration=a=?
As we know that , a=v-u/t
⇒a=90-0/1/20
=90*20
=1800km/h²
Distance travelled =s=ut+1/2at²
=0x1/20 +1/2(1800)(1/20)²
=(1/2)x1800x(1/400)
=2.25km
∴Distance travelled by the train for attaining this velocity 2.25km.

Heya !!!
Here is your answer.
Given :
u = 0
v = 90 km/h
t = 3 mins = 3 × 1/60 = 1/20 hr.
Using
v = u + at
a = 90/(1/20) = 90 × 20 = 1800 km/h²
Distance travelled =
Using s = ut + 1/2 at²
s = 1/2 × 1800 × 1/20 × 1/20
= 2.25 km
Hope It Helps
