Answer:

0.0185 m/s²

Explanation:

Initial velocity u =0

Final velocity v = 40km/h

=40 ×5/18

=11.11 m/s

Time = 10min

= 10× 60

=600s

a=?

We know that,

v = u+ at

→ 11.11 = 0 + a× 600

→ a= 11.11/600

→ a= 0.0185 m/s²

Given:-

Initial velocity of Train(u) = 0m/s

➧ Final velocity (v) = 40 km/h = 11.1 m/s

➧ Time (t) = 10 min = 60×10 =600s

To Find :-

➧ Acceleration (a) of train ???

Solution :-

By using first equation of motion

★ v = u +at

➠ 11.1 = 0 + a × 600s

➠11.1 = a × 600

➠ a = 111/6000

➠ a = 0.0185 m/s²

∴The acceleration of the train is 0.0185 m/s².
