Initial Velocity = u = 0 km/h

Final velocity = v = 90 km/h

Time = 5 min = 5/60 h = 1/12 h

Acceleration = a = ?

a = (v-u)/t

a = (90-0)/ (1/12)

= 90 ×12

= 1080 km/h²

Distance travelled = s = ut+ (1/2) at²

= 0x (1/12) + (1/2) × (1080) × (1/12)²

= (1/2) x1080x (1/144)

= 3.75km

∴ Distance travelled by the train = 3.75km.
