Answer:

36 km/hr

Explanation:

Given that ,

u = 0m/s , a = 0.5 m/s2 , s = 100m , v = ?

From the third equation of motion,

v^2 = u^2 + 2as

Substituting,

v^2 = 0 + 2x0.5x100

      =100m/s

So, v = 10m/s

To convert m/s into km/hr multiply by 18/5

ie, v = 10 x 18/5  = 36 km/hr
