Answer:

The ans will be 146.66 km/h

Step-by-step explanation:

given:

time=3hrs

speed =140km/h

for the first phase journey

distance=speed *time

=140*3

=420 km

for the second phase journey

here it is given

distance=240 km

speed=160km/h

time=distance/speed

=240/160

=3/2 hrs

=1.5 hr

A/Q

average speed=total distance/total time

=420+240 km/3+1.5 hrs

=660 /4.5

=146.66 km/h

or

=40.55 m/s.
