a train travelling at 20 m s-1 accelerates at 0.5 s-2 for 30 s . how far will it travels in this time

please tell me

scienceprincess: use the formula s=ut+1/2at²
scienceprincess: because we have to find s means distance
yashasvisrivas61: hee plz give correct answer with explanation
scienceprincess: it is comment section i didn't give explanation here
scienceprincess: sorry
ankitsunny: then give answer in answer blog

Answer:

initial velocity of train(u)=20m/s

acceleration(a) = 0.5m/s²

time taken (t)= 30s

distance travels by the train =

(s) = ut+1/2at²

=20×30+1/2×0.5×30²

=600+1/2×0.5×900

=600+0.5×450

= 825 ans

hope it helps
