Let the original speed of train be x km/hr.

Time taken = 360/x hrs.

New speed of train= (x+5)km/hr

New Time taken = 360/(x+5) hrs

Given,

360/(x+5) = 360/x - 48

360x = (360-48)(x+5)

360x = 312x + 1560

48x = 1560

x= 32.5 km/hr.
