let the speed be x km/Hr

speed = distance /time

x = 360/ time

time = 360/x eq1

Now when speed increased by 5km/Hr

speed = (x + 5)km/hr

time would be 1/2 hr less so

time = 360/x - 1/2 = (720 - x) / 2x

speed = distance / time

x + 5 = 360 / ((720 - x) / 2x)

(x + 5)(720-x) /2x = 360

(x + 5)(720-x) = 720x

720x -x^2 + 3600 - 5x = 720

x^2 - 715x - 2880 = 0

Solve above equation u will get the speed .
