   Method  of Solution :

Let to be actual Speed of a train 'x' km/hr

We know that [  Time = Distance / Time ]

Here, Distance travelled by a train = 360 km

Now, In this Question, it is given that if speed have been 5km/h more it would have taken 1hour less for the same journey,

Then, Speed will be (x+5) km/hr

Equation : 360/x = 360/x+5 +  1

✏ 360/x = 360/x+5 +  1

✏ 360/x - 360/x+5 = 1

✏ 360 [ 1/x - 1/x+5 ] = 1

✏ 360 [ x+5 - x /(x)x+5 ] = 1

✏ 360 [ 5/x² + 5x ] = 1

✏ 5/x² + 5x = 1/360

✏ 5/x² + 5x = 1/360

✏ x² + 5x = 360×5

✏ x² + 5x - 1800 = 0

✏ x² + 45x - 40x - 1800 = 0

✏ x(x+45) - 40(x+45) = 0

✏ (x-40)(x+45) = 0

•°• x = 40 or - 45

Here,  [ (-45km/hr) -- Neglect ]

Hence, Speed of the train will be 40 km/hr.
