For the first 1000kms.

Average speed = 140 kmph.

Time taken to cover the distance = ( Distance / Speed )

Distance=1000km

For the next 1000 kms.

Average speed = 90 kmph.

Time taken to cover the distance = ( Distance / Speed )

Average speed for the journey = ( Total distance / Total time ) =  GIVES UR ANSWER
