A Train Travels some distance With a speed of 30 km/h and return with a speed of 45km/h calculate the average speed of the train.
please help me with explaining..​

Let the train travels a distance s with speed 30km/hr and travels the same distance s with a speed of 45km/hr during its return journey

We know, average speed=Total distance covered

Total time taken

and time=distance/speed

Total distance travelled=2s

Time taken while going at 30km/hr (T1)=s/30

Time taken during return journey (T2)=s/45

So, average speed= 2s

(s/30)+(s/45)

Solve it and u will get 36km/hr
