Initial speed of train is V1= 60km / hr from A to B
final speed of train is V2 = 80 km / h from B to A
let's calculate total distance traveled by train

as we know V1 = S1 / t1 where S = distance and t = time
V1 = 60 km /h and t1 =1 hr
hence S1 = V1* t1 = 60 * 1 =60 km
follow same method to find out S2
it will S2 = V2*t2 = 80* 1 = 80 km
as train go A to B in 1 hr and come back B to A also in 1 hr
total time = 2 hours
Now let's calculate Average speed of train
A. speed = total distance / total time
put the values
A. speed = S1 +S2 / t1 +t2 = 60+80/ 1+1
= 140 / 2 = 70 km / hr
Therefore correct Answer is that
#Acerage speed is 70 km / hr
