According to question

2(l+b)/2=36
l+b=36
x+4+x=36
2x=36-4
2x=32
x=32/2
x=16

width=x=16m

length=x+4=16+4=20m

ATQ,

Length = (4+x) m

So, 1/2 of perimeter = 2(4+x+x)

1/2 of perimeter = 8+4x

2(l+b)/2 = 8+4x

l+b = 8+4x

4+x+x = 8+4x

4+2x = 8+4x

- 4 = 2x

X = - 2 m.

Therefore,

Length= 4+x

= 4+(-2) m

= 2m.

Width = X

= -2m.
