hey mate here's your answer

initial velocity=36km/hr ie.10m/s

distance=200m

retardation=???

by formula

s=u^2/2a
200=10^2/2a
2a=100/200
a=0.5/2
a=0.25m/s^2

thus.... retardation produced is 0.25m/s^2 in opposite direction

plzz Mark as brainlist if it helps
