A trait may be inherited but may not be expressed . Justify the statement by giving example.

Mendal explained thisthrough his monohybrid cross .he produced progeny from purely dwarf & purely tall plant of pea  and he found thdt all f1 genration were tall . But when he used f1 progeny to produced f2 progeny , 25%of plants were short and 3/4 were tall we conclude that both tallness and dwarfness were inherited in f1 generation  but dwarfness were suppressed under the domimance of other . Thus we conclude that it is possible that a trait is in herited but not express in an organisms
