we know that
Area of trapezium=1/2*height*(sum of parallel side)
here, height=12cm
and, parallel sides are 20cm and 29cm. so put in the formula
1 \div 2 \times 12 \times {20 + 29} \\ 1  \div 2 \times 12 \times 49 \\ 6 \times 49   \\ 294
hence area of trapezium is 294 CM.sq
