A trapezium with an area of 5100 cm2 has the perpendicular distance between the two parallel sides of 60m . if one of the parallel sides be 40m. find the length of the other side.

=1/2 x (40+x) x 60 = 5100

Step 4: To find the Value of x

=(40+x) x 30=5100

=1200+30x=5100

=30x=5100-1200

30x=3900

Step 5:

x=3900/30

X=130 m

The value of X is 130 metre
