Given : a trapezoid having height = 10 feet  and parallel sides = 20 & 8 feet

To find : Area of Trapezoid

Solution:

Area of Trapezoid  =  (1/2) ( Sum of Parallel Sides )  * Heights

=> Area of Trapezoid  = (1/2) ( 20 + 8)  * 10

=> Area of Trapezoid  = (1/2) ( 28)  * 10

=> Area of Trapezoid  = 14  * 10

=> Area of Trapezoid  = 140 sq feet

Area of Trapezoid  = 140 sq feet
