Pressure=Force/Area

Pressure exerted by the trash compactor=

5600/0.342N/m^2

=16374.269Pa

=16374.27Pa

Hope it helped.

Pressure=Force/Area,Pressure exerted by the trash:

compactor=5600/0.342N/m^2=16374.269Pa=16374.27Pa.

Force: A force is a cause with mass can change its velocity which includes beginning moving from a body in the state of rest.

Force can also be called an intuitively as a push or a pull.

Both magnitude and direction in force make it a  vector quantity.

A force can result from an interaction with another object.

Area: Area is the quantity that describes a two-dimensional figure, or planar laminal shape, in the plane.

Surface area has an analogy on the two-dimensional or a  three-dimensional object.
