A tree, 6 m tall, casts a 4-m-long shadow. At the same a flag pole casts a 50-m-long shadow. How long is the flag pole?

A tree casts 4 m long shadow and its height = 6m

A tree casts 1 m long shadow and its height = (6/4) m

∴A flag pole casts a 50 m long shadow and its height = (6/4) × (50)

= 75 m tall
