a tree is broken by the wind as shown in the figure a long side if the point where it broke is 5km above from the ground and it's top touch the ground at a distance of 12m from the foot find out the total height of the tree before it broke. ​

height of the tree from where it broke= 5m

it's distance from from the foot = 12m

So,

according to pythagoras theorem.

(5)^2 + (12)^2 = (x)^2

25 + 144 = (x)^2

169 = x

13 = x

total height of the tree ==> 13m + 5m

==> 18m ans.

(AC)^2+(CB)^2=AB^2
5^2+12^2=AB^2
25+144=Ab^2
169=Ab^2
13=Ab
total height of the tree before it broke. ​=
AB+AC=13+5=18
mark it as a brainlist
