Let ABCD be the parallelogram and DEC be the triangle and DE be the common base and AE be the common height of the parallelogram ABCD and traingle DEC.
ar (ABCD)=Base×Height=AF×DC
ar (DEC)=(Bace×Height)/2=(1/2)×AF×DC
ar (ABCD):ar (DEC)
=>(AF×DC):(1/2)×AF×DC
=>1:(1/2)
=>2:1
ar (ABCD)=Base×Height=AF×DC
ar (DEC)=(Bace×Height)/2=(1/2)×AF×DC
ar (ABCD):ar (DEC)
=>(AF×DC):(1/2)×AF×DC
=>1:(1/2)
=>2:1
