a triangle and a parallelogram have the same base and same area.if the sidesof the triangle are 26cm,28 cm 30 cm and the parallelogram stands on the base 28cm ,find the hight of the parallelogram

first we'll find area of triangle by herons formula
s=26+28+30/2=84/2=42
area=√s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)
=√42(42-28)(42-26)(42-30)
=√42*14*16*12
=336cm²

let height of parallelogram be x
area of parallelogram=336
1/2*(28+28)*h=336
1/2*56*h=336
28*h=336
h=336/12=12cm
