A triangle has a perimeter of 50.If 2 of uts sides are equal and the third sides is 5 more than the equal sides what is the lenght of the third side

Length of two of the sides of triangle are equal
Say the length of these equal side = x.

As per the question,
The third side = x+5
(5 more than the length of equal sides)

Perimeter = 50
This means adding three lengths of triangle together results 50

(x) + (x) + (x+5) = 50

\implies 3x= 45

\implies x= 15

Therefore,
Length of the equal sides x = 15
Length of the third side x+5 = 15+5= 20
