A triangle has an area of 1845 cm2. One of its sides is given as 123cm, and then what is the length of the perpendicular that is dropped on that particular side from the opposite vertex.

Area=(1/2)×base length× perpendicular

Let the perpendicular be P. Then it is given

1845=(1/2)×123×P

P=2×1845/123=30 cm Ans
