Given : A triangle with one angle greater than 90°

To Find :  Draw a circumcircle

Solution:

Step 1  :  Lets label vertex of given triangle A , B & C

Step 2 :  Draw perpendicular bisector of AB

Step 3 :  Draw perpendicular bisector of AC

Step 4 : Perpendicular bisector intersects at O

Step 5 : Using compass width = OA/OB/OC and taking O as center draw a circle which is Circum circle of the triangle

How to draw perpendicular bisector of a line AB

Step 1 :   Using suitable compass width and taking A as center draw arcs on both sides of AB

Step 2 : Keeping compass width same and taking B as center draw arcs intersecting arc drawn in previous step at X and Y

Step 3 : Draw a line passing through X and Y

XY is perpendicular bisector of AB.
