length of wire needed for the fencing=perineter of park - width of gate
250-3m= 247
cost if fencing=20x247
=4940

hope it helps

Answer:

247m

Step-by-step explanation:

For finding the area of the park, we have

               2s= 50m + 80m + 120m =250m

i.e.,             s= 125m

Now,          s - a = [125-120] m = 5m [a],

                  s - b = [125-80] m = 45m [b],

                  s - c = [125-50] m = 75m [c].

Therefore, area of the park = √s[s-a] [s-b] [s-c]

                                              = √125 × 5 × 45 × 75 m²

                                              = 375√15 m²

Also, perimeter of the park = AB + BC + CA = 250m

Therefore, length of the wire needed for fencing = 250m-3m[ to be left for the gate]

                                                                                 = 247m

So the length of wire required is 247m.
