I woke up on Sunday the 2nd of May 2010, so full of excitement. It was still very early in the morning, but all of my excitement kept me awake.

Our flight to Brisbane from Rockhampton was at 2:00pm that afternoon. It seemed to take so long. While I was waiting, I checked I had packed everything. Being far away from home you need to remember everything.

2:00pm came eventually. We drove to the airport, we were all very excited. I remember sitting down in the airport and hearing “Those boarding Qf2357, please make your way through security”. I leapt out of my seat so eager to get on the plane.

By the end of the day we were all settled in our Hotel in Brisbane. The next morning I got woke up hearing “Come on Kiddies we are going to Los Angles, USA, get up and get ready. That morning was the quickest I ever seen anyone get out of bed.

We got ready had breakfast, and were at the airport soon after.

When we arrived in Los Angles, we went to a cafe for breakfast; they serve huge amounts over there.

While we were there we went to Disney land for 4 days! That was so much fun. We also went to Denny’s, their food is so yummy! I could eat it all day.

Next we flew to New York, such an amazing place, with so much history. It was very fun; we visited the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Time Square, and Central park.

For the first time in my life I saw a squirrel! It was so exciting.

After a few day’s we flew to Washington DC, where we saw the White House and Lincoln Memorial. It was so fun.

Soon we flew to Toronto, Canada. “What a lovely place”, Mum said. We all wish we had more that 3 days here. In Toronto we went to Niagara Falls. Such an amazing site! Toronto was one of my favourites.

Our last flight in America was to Chicago. That is where Mum and Dad hired a car. We drove on the freeway. It was quite scary, but we got used to it after awhile. In Chicago we met up with some friends and drove Route 66 back to Los Angles.

From there we flew back home on the 3rd of June to Australia.

A trip I’ll never forget.

Answer:

I've traveled extensively throughout my country. Traveling is my passion, and it fascinates me. I used to go to the most beautiful and largest city in Vietnam when I was a little girl about seven years old. Ho Chi Minh City is the name. It's a lovely and interesting place to visit.

Explanation:

The city was a modern, civilized city at the time and continues to be so today. I was able to travel to Ho Chi Minh City because my parents had to go to work and I could accompany them. I awoke with a surprised expression after a long sleep in the coach. The roads, houses, and trees, were all different from where I grew up. The wide roads with a lot of traffic. There were cars, bicycles, and even trains, which I could only see in pictures. The houses have been built next to each other and have five, seven, ten, and more floors. It was my first time seeing such tall structures. It's a different picture that makes me feel loved and excited to visit a big city.

After getting off the bus, I went to my uncle's house to rest. My uncle took me to the children's play area the next day. There, I participated in a variety of exciting games.

In addition, I got to see elephants and giraffes, to which I fed sugarcane. After that, my uncle took me to a crowded water park where there was a massive lake known as the artificial sea and numerous other games. I participated in water sports such as swimming and water polo. In the evening, I went to a fancy restaurant with my uncle and parents to eat a barbecue. It was a fantastic day filled with memorable activities.

I returned from my trip full of emotions, both happy and sad. I'm excited to learn more new and interesting things. It's a shame to have to leave this happy and beautiful place.
