No. The possession of a head is not a trophy.
What is a trophy?
- A trophy is a prized possession, but the cruel act of cutting off one's head is not a deed of valor.
- A trophy is of true value only when it is won under true circumstances and without the loss of innocent lives.
- The possession of a head by a person shows depicts his cruel inhuman nature.
- It brings out his animal side of personality.
- Shedding one's blood to gain fame is not a thing to be appreciated but to be condemned.
- While the act of possession of an animal's head itself is considered as punishable, how can one do so with humans?
So, I feel that the possession of a head is not a trophy.
Obviously, Not! Taking one’s head as winner trophy is not a good act of human beings.
Trophy is a kind of encouragement for a person who performed with his best in an event like sport or battle. In old days, some cruel cultures around the world were a complete terrifying thing, like human sacrifices, cutting heads and taking them as trophies during a war or a honor sport event.
They were considered as normal in old days. However, they are seriously a inhuman thing to do. In old days, they considered the trophy heads as a symbol of honor and it doesn’t matter how cruel it is to cut a person’s head and take it all the way back to home to showcase it.
In modern world, time has changed. Cultures… evolved. People become more civilized because they are using guns instead of swords and knifes. Probably, no one in today’s world is considering their enemies nasty heads as trophies for good god sake. Instead they started to think like who cares about trophies? I just need to avenge people.
