A truck hit a car which was moving at a very high speed. The car was damaged while the truck did not undergo any damage. The truck driver and the car driver started quarreling. The car driver said that the truck driver hit his car with a greater force as the truck has a greater mass while the truck driver argued that the speed of the car was more than that of the truck, and, thus, it exerted a greater force on the truck. Since the speed of the truck was less, it was not damaged. Who do you think was correct and why?

The truck driver was correct as the car exerted more force on the truck since it was coming at a higher speed.
The car driver was correct as the truck exerted more force on the car as it is heavier than the car.
The car driver was correct as the rate of change of momentum of the car was more and, therefore, the impact on it was more.
No one was correct since same amount of force was exerted by both the vehicles on each other but the impact was different on each depending on their mass.
