A truck moving
moving on straight path covers a distance
of 5 km due east an 500 s. What is (i)the speed
and (ii) the velocity,of truck ?​

we know 1min=60sec and 1hr=60min,then

automatically 1hr=3600sec so, then

1/3600hr=1sec

multiply by 500 on both sides we get

5/36hr=500sec

so, finally now

(1) speed= distance /time

speed=5km/500sec

speed=5km/(5/36)hr

speed = 36km/s

(2) velocity =displacement / time

here distance and displacement is same so

velocity =36m/s
