Answer: accerelation = 4 m/s^2,

force = 20000 newton

Explanation:

u = 0 ( because it starts from rest )

v = d/t = 100/5 = 20 m/s

time = 5sec

Mass = 5 metric ton or 5000 kg

Accerelation = (v - u)/time = (20-0)/5

= 4m/s^2

F = m * a

Force = 5000*4 = 20000 Newton
