A truck travelling at 25 m/s puts its brakes on for 4 s. This produces a deceleration of 2 m/s2. What does the truck's velocity drop to?

3. Initial velocity = u = 25m/s
4. final velocity = ?
Formula and Calculations:
v = u + at
putting the values, we get,
v = 25 + (-2)*4
v = 25 - 8
v = 17m/s (required answer)
