  •  ATQ →

 ◘ ( Capacity of Tub ) + ( Capacity of Bucket ) = 3L 500mL

=>  ( x ) + ( 4x ) = 3L 500mL

=>  5x = 3L 500mL

=>  'x'  = 700mL

=> Capacity of Bucket = 'x' = 700mL

capacity of bucket be x.

tub's capacity will be: 4x

they contain water combinely =3500ml. (3L=3000ml)
tub + bucket = 3500
x+ 4x= 3500ml
5x=3500ml
x=700ml.......capacity of bucket

fr tub , 4*x
=>4*700
=>2800......tub's capacity
