Answer:

x = 4

y = 2

number is 24.

Step-by-step explanation:

let, the number is 10y+x.

(x+y)*4 = 10y+x

or, 4x+4y = 10y+x

or, 3x = 6y

or, x = 2y......(1)

xy*3 = 10y+x

or, 2y*y*3 = 10y+2y

or, 6y^2 = 12y

or, y = 2

x= 4

Answer:

Let units digit and tens digit of the two digit number be x and y.

Number is 10y+x

A.T.Q,

10y + x = 4(y+x)

10y + x = 4y + 4x

2y= x _________(i)

10y + x = 3xy _________(ii)

From eq(i) and eq(ii),

10y + 2y = 3 \times 2y \times y \\ 12y \:  =  {6y}^{2} \\ 6y {}^{2}  - 12y = 0 \\
