Hello friend .. let's understand this with an example
How to write 45 in simple way
45 = 40 + 5
Let the no is ab
ab = 10a + b
Reverse the number
ba = 10b +a
Given condition

(10a+b)×5/6 = (10b+a)
50a + 5b = 60b + 6a
44 a = 55b
a/b = 5/4
Number are a= 5 and b= 4
54 !!

Hope it helps you !!

Answer:

54

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : A two digit number becomes five-sixth of itself when it's digits are reversed. the two digits differ by one .

To Find: Number

Let the no. is xy

xy = 10x + y

Now, Reverse the number

yx = 10y +x

Since we are given that two digit number becomes five-sixth of itself when it's digits are reversed

So,

(10x+y)×5/6 = (10y+x)

50x + 5y = 60y + 6x

44 x = 55y

x/y = 5/4

x= 5y/4 --a

Since we are given that  the two digits differ by one

So, x-y = 1

Now using a

\frac{5y}{4}-y=1

\frac{y}{4}=1

So, y = 4

Now x-y=1

so, x-4 =1

x= 1+4

x=5

Thus the number is xy = 54
