A two digit number is four times the sum of its digits. It is also equal to three times the product of its digits. Find the number.

its expanded form is 10x+y

10x+y=4(x+y)

10x+y=4x+4y

6x-3y=0-

2x=y---(1)


and also.given that

(10x+y)=3xy

10x+2x=3x(2x)

12x=6x²

2=x. and y =2x=4

so the two digit number is 24
