8

let x be in units place and y be in tenths place.

(x+y) be the digits

let the two digit no be 10x+y

Now,Two digit number is obtained by multiplying sum of the digits by 8 and subtracting 5

10x+y= 8(x+y)-5

10x+y=8x+8y-5

10x-8x+y-8y=-5

2x-7y=-5......(i)

again,Two digit number is obtained by multiplying the difference of the digits by 16 and adding 3

so,10x+y= 16(x-y)+3

10x+y=16x-16y+3

10x-16x+y+16=3

-6x+17y=3

17y-6x=3.......(ii)

solving these two equations and put the value of x and y in 10x+y.

you will get ur desired no.
