Step-by-step explanation:

let the digit at unit place be y

the digit at tens place be x

Number = 10x + y

a/q

x × y = 30

x = 30/y

Now,

If the digits are interchanged

then,

the digit at unit place = x

the digit at tens place = y

10the new number = 10 y + x

a/q

10x +y - (10y + x) = 9

=>10 x + y - 10y - x = 9

=> 9 x - 9 y = 9

=> 9(x- y) = 9

=> x - y = 1

now putting the value of x

30/y -y = 1

30 - y = y.

30 = y + y

30 = 2y

y = 15

Hence, Original number = 10 × 2 + 15 = 20 + 15 = 35
