Number = 10x+y
By conditions,
x=y+5 ------(1)
10x+y = 8(x+y)
10x+y=8x+8y
2x=7y -------(2)
Substituting (1) in (2),
2(y+5) = 7y
2y + 10 = 7y
5y=10
y=2
x =y+5
x= 2+5 = 7
Therefore the number is 72
