let the unit digit be x and the tens digit be y,so the number is (10y+x)
ATP... (10y+x)-3=4(x+y)=>10y+x-3=4x+4y =>10y-4y=4x-x+3=>6y=3x+3=>6y=3(x+1) =>6y/3=x+1=>2y=x+1=>x=2y-1.........(i)
another equation..... (10y+x)+18=(10x+y) =>10y-y+18=10x-x=>9y+18=9x=>9(y+2)=9x. =>9(y+2)/9=x=>x=y+2
putting the value of...... (i) in the equation
2y-1=y+2=>2y-y=2+1=>y=3
so x is...... x=y+2=>x=3+2=>x=5
SO THE UNITS DIGIT(I.E. x)IS 5 AND THE TENS DIGIT(I.E. y) IS 3
HOPE IT HELPS
