Number = 10a+b

ACCORDING TO THE QUESTION ;

10a+b = 4(a+b)+3

10a+b = 4a+4b+3

10a-4a = 4b-b+3

6a-3b = 3

Let the number be xy.

Expanded form => 10x+y.

From the question,

=> 10x+y = 4 (x+y)+3.

=> 10x+y = 4x+4y+3.

=> 6x-3y=3.

=> 2x-y =1.
