two types of fission are there-
binary fission and multiple fission
1. binary fission- the organism is divided into two by mitotic cell division by having clone with parents organism.
ex- binary fission in amoeba
2. multiple fission- in this the organism divides multiple times and produce large numbers of cell and are clone to each other.
ex- multiple fission in yeast.
