To Find: we have to find the force acting on wire is?

First, we have to complete the loop, after completing the loop there will be two forces acting on the wire F1 and F2, and the current will be in a clockwise direction in the loop.

Net force acting on current carrying loop is Zero,

                                         F1 + F2 = 0

                                            F1 = - F2

                                         F2 = î( î×B )

                                               = i (2rB)

                                               = 2irB

                                       | F1 | = | F2 | = 2irB

Hence the force acting on wire is 2irB
