A variable frequency a.c source is connected to a capacitor .How will the displacement current change with decrease in frequency ?; As conduction current decreases , frequency decreases As conduction current increases , frequency decreases There will be no chargeAs conduction current decreases , frequency decreases initially and then increases

he frequency And the current through capacitance are directly proportional. So on decreasing frequency the current tend to decrease too.

But not always. Only when ideal capacitance is assumed. Practically, a capacitane has inductance properties also, esp after resonance. This resonance frequency is mentioned in the data sheet and can be properly selected
