Now see vector A is along k and B is j direction , so

 \vec a \times \vec b =  \hat k \:  \times \hat j =  -  \: \hat i

So resultant is in - I or West direction.

** You could also use your right thumb , direction of your fingers upwards then bent them to north , your thumb will be pointing towards west .
