In 2.4 liters distance covered = 43.2 km

In 1 liter = 43.2 ÷ 2.4

What you do is multiply 10 to both 43.2 and 2.4

43.2 x 10 = 432 km
2.4 x 10 = 24 liter

Now you can easily divide
432 ÷ 24 = 18

So required distance is 18 km

Hope This Helps You!

distance travelled by the vehicle in 1 litre of petrol= 43.2/2.4= 18km( by cross multiplying)
