Distance = 43.2km , Litre = 2.4l.... So, by Unitary method, Distance covered= 43.2×1÷2.4 =43.2÷ 2.4 =18km........

We can solve this problem in simple arithmetic method.(no other complex algebraic method is needed)

According to the data mentioned in the question;

2.4 litres cover = 43.2 km

1 litre covers = 43.2 ÷ 2.4 = 18 km

So, the vehicle will cover approximately 18 km distance with help of only one litre of petrol. (Answer)
